Wine and truffles can only be reached by car
The Barolo and Barbaresco cellars are not on the main roads: they are at the top of hills, at the end of gravel tracks, behind a gate that opens by appointment only. The woods where truffles are hunted have neither an address nor a car park. That is exactly why we exist.
We build the day with you: two or three wineries, lunch at a hillside restaurant, appointments made in advance with the estates we know. Or dawn in the woods with a trifolao and his dog, and breakfast at the farmhouse on the way back. In autumn, both fit into one day.
Whoever drives does not drink. It need not be one of you
It is the sum almost nobody does before setting off: if the plan involves three tastings a day, somebody in the group stays dry for the entire holiday. With a licensed driver at the wheel that problem disappears, and in the evening you get home without watching the clock.
The same is true at dinner. Our "Mangio fuori" service was born from exactly this: we take you to the restaurant, wait for you and bring you back, charging for the distance rather than the waiting.
From the airports into the Langhe, and up the valleys in winter
The first thing you need when you land is to reach where you are sleeping. We connect Turin and Caselle, Milan with Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo and Genoa with Alba, Barolo, La Morra, Monforte, Barbaresco, Neive and Serralunga, right to the farmhouse door even when the last kilometre is unsurfaced. Your flight is monitored: if it is late, the driver waits.
The price is per vehicle and locks at booking: Turin to Alba is 160 euro by sedan and 180 by minivan, from Caselle airport 210 and 235. You pay on arrival, directly to the driver.
From December to April we head uphill
In winter the same cars climb towards the Alps: Cervinia, Valtournenche, Champoluc and Courmayeur in the Aosta Valley, Sestriere and Bardonecchia on the Piedmont side, Montgenèvre and Chamonix across the border. Proper tyres, chains on board and room for skis and snowboards, at no extra charge.
Out of season the city links remain: Turin, Milan, Genoa, Asti, and every business trip where what you need is a car that waits rather than a car to park.
Frequently asked
How does a day among the wineries work?
We collect you where you are staying, drive all day and bring you back. The cellar visits are arranged with the Barolo and Barbaresco estates we have worked with for years: tell us what you like to drink and how many you want to see (two in the morning and one in the afternoon is the rhythm that works best) and we take care of the rest. We are licensed private-hire drivers, not tour guides: the wine is explained by the people who make it.
Are the prices really fixed?
Yes. The price you see when booking is the final one: no meter, no hidden costs, no surcharge for traffic. The fare includes vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls and luggage assistance.
Can you reach the Langhe by train?
To Alba, yes: from Turin there are direct trains in about an hour and twenty minutes, from Milan you change at Asti and it takes two and a half to three and a half hours. The problem starts afterwards: Barolo, La Morra and Monforte have no station, and buses between the villages are rare and do not run on Sundays. Anyone staying up in the hills, or travelling with suitcases, normally arrives by private transfer from the airport or the station.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real time and adjust the driver's arrival accordingly. There's no need to warn us: flight monitoring is included at no extra cost.
Is it worth booking the return at the same time?
Yes: booking the outbound and return in the same request applies a 5% discount on the total, already calculated in the price you see before confirming. On top of that the driver already knows when to collect you and the time stays locked in.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the transfer. For later cancellations (less than 48 hours) no refund applies. To cancel, write to us by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference.
